Thank you, Vallarta!

I have been voting with my dollars for some time. Not always perfectly, but I am always trying.

We eat a lot of Mexican food at home, which means we purchase a lot of tortillas. It’s always difficult finding tortillas that aren’t made in Texas. I want to support California businesses.

Meet the grocery store, Vallarta. Apparently they have stores all over, but this is the first time I have heard of them. They just opened a new store about a mile from us. I already love them, and one of the main reasons is that they make tortillas in the store.

And they are delicious.

I’ll write more about Vallarta another time. For now, I’m celebrating being able to buy tortillas that are made in California.

And if you know of tortilla companies in California, I’d love to know about them.
