The Gay Vegans

Review – New vegan bakery in Pasadena, Yvonne’s Vegan Kitchen

Oh my goodness.

I typically want to visit a food spot a couple of times before writing a review.

Because they just opened, and because my visit there was spectacular, I’m writing now based on one visit.

Yvonne has been serving delicious baked goods for years here in southern California.

My visit was quick. I knew what I wanted. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Mike has an almond allergy and everyone knew what didn’t have almond flour (fortunately for us, everything!).

I ordered a strawberry cake for a dinner the next night, two pieces of coffee cake, and two pieces of a lemon pound cake. I may have the name wrong on the lemon pound cake.

As I said earlier, oh my goodness! The lemon pound cake was my favorite, although we try the starwberry cake later today. The coffee cake was perfect.

I can’t wait to go back!

Yvonne’s Vegan Kitchen is at 11 W. Dayton Street in Pasadena. They are just south of the 210, the Fair Oaks exit.

Ignore that if it’s not the same Yvonnes, but I don’t think you’re comments are working yet.

Hi! Not sure if you will see this. I can’t figure out why my comments don’t show. I checked everything. So I am having my web person check it out.
